Donkey / Male / Rescued in 2016

I am Donk. Before I came to SFT I was very badly treated. I was absolutely worn out and had no strength. I couldn't even walk to my bowl to eat or drink.

After being at the sanctuary for a few days I felt so much better because I realised I was safe and loved. The photograph says it all. I know mum was worried she couldn't afford to take me in but she also knew she couldn't just let me die. She told me she was going to make me all better and she did. I am so happy at the sanctuary.
